This class is for students with experience operating quadrotors.  

Students will test their skills in flying quadrotors by racing and occasional playground games such as “capture the flag” - - “red rover” - - “dodgeball” modified to be played with quadrotors. The O’Neill cafetorium provides a large space for indoor flying with outdoor flying as weather permits.

A ranked “ladder” will be maintained so students can compare their racing skill.

All quadrotors will be supplied by the instructor, but unlike Intro to Quadrotors the ability to pass out quadrotors after the last class session cannot be guaranteed.

Learn how to make your cookies look darling. Students will learn how to create the most amazing cookies by learning the best decorating and building techniques. Turn a regular cookie into the most gorgeous delicious cookie. Each student will have cookies to decorate and take home each week. Recipe booklet will be provided at the end of the class. All cookie supplies included.

Introduction to Quadcopters I *1

Quadcopters (a/k/a quadrotors) have become an inexpensive vehicle to introduce students to a variety of aeronautical and controls concepts and universities often incorporate quadcopters into their aerospace lab curriculum. This class will introduce students to quadcopter theory together with actual “hands-on” flying of quadrotors in each class session.

The O’Neill cafetorium provides a large space for indoor flying with outdoor flying as weather permits. Each student in the Intro to Quadcopters class will be given a quadrotor to take home after the last class session.
