Jr. Chefs I

9:00 - 9:50  Grades:  4th - 8th

Full participation cooking class for students K-8th grade.  Recipe selections allow for students to explore essential cooking techniques using an assortment of kitchen tools and gadgets.  Individual and group recipes will be prepared.  Kitchen safety and ingredient & tool knowledge will be a part of each session.  All recipes will be nut free.  Parent participation is welcome, online sign up is available.  Students are encouraged to bring reusable containers to transport food samples home, but disposable containers will be available each week.  Students may bring an oversized T-shirt or apron to wear to protect clothing, if desired.

Medical Science: So, you want to be a doctor, this is the class for you! Have a blast learning about human anatomy, the systems of the body, and perform mock medical procedures. Build models and do chemistry experiments.

Have you always wondered how the real artists paint? Whether you are an aspiring Van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is uniquely yours. Each class is guided step by step so it is easy and fun. We will provide the paints, canvases, brushes, easels and aprons.

No previous experience required.

Yoga in Motion

Have fun, stretch your body while learning yoga!  Games & songs add to the fun.  Dress to move, no jeans plese.  Yoga is a great way to develop focus, awareness, and coordination.  This class stresses increased flexibility and balance as students particpate in imaginative poses, games, songs, and relaxation.  It's a fun and beneficial class for the whole child - body and mind.  No prerequisite - this class is for students interested in having fun and challenge their bodies.  Students are asked to bring a yoga mat or beach towel and water bottle.
