Students will be able to explore character design and the animation process. The animators will be able to make their own cartoon characters come to life by using various animation apps. They will also get to use digital tools like Wacom drawing tablets and collaborate with one another to come up with a common theme. At the end of the session, their cartoon clips will be compiled and posted on www.mrbelonio.weebly.com.
Prerequisites – Students who have taken Cartoon Creations class and/or good knowledge of digital art apps (ArtStudio, iMotion, FlipAClip, etc.) Materials: Students should bring their own iPad or/ Tablet, drawing stylus is recommended.
CNC - Wood and Plastic Carving Class (Carvey)

Carve out some time for this class! Students will learn how to design using Easel software. So, put your creativity to the test and create projects such as signs or objects can then be carved out on materials such as wood or plastic. Students will be able to take home at least 2 projects.

Explore the world of icing decorating and fondant and have lots of fun along the way. This class will offer some super colorful, fun, and creative ways to decorate cupcakes. Your child will leave each class with 2 hand decorated cupcakes and the skills to decorate their own at home.

Intro to 3D Printing

Introduction to Quadcopters II

Description: Quadcopters (a/k/a quadrotors) have become an inexpensive vehicle to introduce students to a variety of aeronautical and controls concepts and universities often incorporate quadcopters into their aerospace lab curriculum. This class will introduce students to quadcopter theory together with actual “hands-on” flying of quadrotors in each class session. The O’Neill cafetorium provides a large space for indoor flying with outdoor flying as weather permits.
Each student in the Intro to Quadcopters class will be given a quadrotor to take home after the last class session.
Introduction to Spanish

In this class students are introduced to Spanish: basic phrases, parts of the body, colors, numbers, family members, seasonal words and more. Students will play some Spanish games and learn to both read and speak basic words. Parents receive materials to enable them to work with their children at home, if desired.
Jr. Chefs II

Full participation cooking class for students K-8th grade. Recipe selections allow for students to explore essential cooking techniques using an assortment of kitchen tools and gadgets. Individual and group recipes will be prepared. Kitchen safety and ingredient & tool knowledge will be a part of each session. All recipes will be nut free. Parent participation is welcome, online sign up is available. Students are encouraged to bring reusable containers to transport food samples home, but disposable containers will be available each week. Students may bring an oversized T-shirt or apron to wear to protect clothing, if desired.

Students will build science vocabulary while forming hypothesis, making and recording observations, measuring, making conclusions and a lot more!
