Description: Quadcopters (a/k/a quadrotors) have become an inexpensive vehicle to introduce students to a variety of aeronautical and controls concepts and universities often incorporate quadcopters into their aerospace lab curriculum. This class will introduce students to quadcopter theory together with actual “hands-on” flying of quadrotors in each class session. The O’Neill cafetorium provides a large space for indoor flying with outdoor flying as weather permits.

Each student in the Intro to Quadcopters class will be given a quadrotor to take home after the last class session.
